PULSE#2 Daytime Rave

For Sound of Belfast 26, we are hosting PULSE#2 — a daytime clubbing experience for anyone who wants to move, connect, let go and feel joy! Join dancer lead Aisling McCormick along with DJ Venus Dupree in an immersive music‑led experience where you can: • Dance without judgement • Lose yourself in the rhythm and reconnect with your body. • Show up alone and still feel part of something Come as you are. Move how you want. No pressure. No posing. Just music, movement and connection. Your ticket includes an 1 hour dance class led by vibe-master Aisling McCormick who will focus on safely warming up your body and introduce simple, accessible movement ideas. No choreography to memorise, no mirrors or performance pressure. This section is particularly supportive for first‑time participants or those who feel unsure about dancing in club environments. After the class, the space will shift fully into a club setting: lights drop, the music lifts and we dance together for a 1 hour DJ‑led continuous mix. Whether you’re a seasoned dance-floor regular or someone who just wants to switch off, shake it out and feel alive, PULSE is your space! 11:00-12:00 Dance Class 12:00-13:00 Free-flow Club £10.00-£12.00 18+ Posted In: Clubs , Workshops Tagged: 18+

JuJu Jazz Kissa (Afternoon Session)

JUJU is Belfast (and Ireland’s) first Japanese-style jazz kissa – a dedicated café for listening to jazz, hosted by Belfast-born photographer and writer, Philip Arneill, creator of the acclaimed TOKYO JAZZ JOINTS project. JUJU will provide a pop-up space where the music always takes centre stage: come along, sip on a coffee, switch off and lose a few hours listening to jazz – from bop, spiritual, soul jazz and everything in between – played loudly and proudly on vinyl. Luminous Interfaces (Franziska Schroeder) features three improvisations created with co-designed accessible instruments including VR, AI colour-tracking and adapted game controller technologies. It Flows with No Electrics (John D’Arcy), explores the lived experience of brain injury through music, sound and visuals. Touching the Ear (Pedro Rebelo), a performance developed with deaf participants, explores different ways of feeling music.
