Templemore Baths - Guided Heritage Tour

Dive into Belfast history with a guided tour of the last Victorian public baths on the island of Ireland! Templemore Baths has been serving the people of East Belfast for over 130 years as a Victorian bath house. Today, its legacy survives through the Heritage Centre's exhibition, which tells the remarkable stories of the work and leisure that were central to the lives of the locals. The building's pools, ticket office, laundry and slipper baths have all be restored with displays and interactive panels that weave the long and fascinating stories of the generations of people that used these baths daily, and our passionate local guides will tell you the unique and engaging history of Belfast's working class during the Victorian Industrialisation, WWII, and so much more. Join a guided tour to learn more about Templemore Baths, it's architecture, social history, leisure and sport, and the epic restoration which saved the building. Our friendly guides have a wealth of local knowledge which ensures a unique experience and our onsite café is a great spot for a coffee, cake, or light lunch.
