Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson’s wonderfully eccentric fable is, at its core, a gentle love story starring Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård and Peter Dinklage. On the outskirts of a village by the sea, lives a Fisherwoman; smelly, single and perpetually ridiculed. One day, fed up with her stuffy, small-minded neighbours, she commissions herself a husband to be made from wicker. In an otherwise conservative town, this unconventional romance sparks outrage, jealousy and chaos.

Shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, NAZA reveals the systems behind Israel’s bombing of Gaza and its mass killing of Palestinian civilians. The film is directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, two of the four co-directors of the 2024 Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land. NAZA is titled for a military acronym euphemistically used by Israeli intelligence to indicate the number of civilians that it expects will be killed in an airstrike. The film builds on revelations first published by the Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine, Hebrew-language outlet Local Call, and the Guardian between 2023 and 2025. "The film lets us explore something deeper than we could in our investigative journalism alone: not only the words being said but also those that are not said, the silence. It is up to all of us to break that silence." Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor

Three siblings return to the family home after the death of their mother. Practically estranged, they’re happy to go their separate ways once the funeral is done and dusted. The tables are turned however when a solicitor reveals that their mother altered her will prior to passing on, deciding to split her house between them instead of giving it solely to Thomas, who cared for her in later years. They subsequently fall into an inheritance battle that turns bitter, absurd, and eventually deadly. Our House is the debut feature of writer & director Peter Young, a stalwart of the festival, and the talent seen in his previous short film work is here in full display. The film blends elements of dark comedy and thriller seamlessly, yet never neglecting the emotional core. Despite the claustrophobic setting, we never feel boxed in. The central trio of Michael Shea, Hannah McClean and Andy Doherty are funny and devastating in star-making turns, fully embodying the sharp rapport between family who love & hate each other. The supporting cast is rounded out by Colin Connor, Kerri Quinn and Paddy Jenkins in a scene-stealing turn as an indignant taxi driver.

The Script are coming to Belfast this November! The Script’s phenomenal and long-lasting success has seen them achieve six UK #1 albums and eight back home in Ireland, in the process exceeding 14 billion streams, 5 million album sales, and countless international Platinum certifications led by two US Platinum singles and two US Top 10 albums. Today The Script enter a new era by sharing their new single ‘Man In The Arena’ - the first taste of their new album ‘The User’s Guide To Being Human’ which follows on 14 August 2026. The Script will follow the album with a huge UK and Ireland arena tour which is coming to Belfast on Monday 2 November. James Morrison is special guest for Dublin and Belfast dates. Further global touring has also been confirmed - adding to the 4.5 million tickets they have sold in their career. ‘The User’s Guide To Being Human’ follows 2024’s ‘Satellites’. It was a record that saw vocalist Danny O’Donoghue attempt to process the grief that followed the tragic passing of his bandmate and friend Mark Sheehan in 2023. The record was followed by a global arena tour in which every show paid tribute to Mark. After the tour ended, Danny found himself energised and inspired. Within a week of finishing, he was writing and recording new material with Andrew Frampton, Steve Kipner and Jimbo Barry, who between them had previously contributed to many of The Script’s huge hits, including ‘Hall Of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and ‘Breakeven’. Recorded in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, the result is an album in which Danny has established a powerful sense of purpose and direction for the next stage of the band, full of the real, emotional, soul-deep connection that their fans have come to love. Danny says, “The title is what this album is about. If you need something to remind you of the spectrum of feelings and emotions that make you feel human, this is it.” The skyscraping ambition of ‘Man In The Arena’ lives up to its title, with a hard-hitting R&B groove suddenly bursting into a classic Script mega-chorus built for the biggest of stages: a rousing Danny O’Donoghue delivers a typically charismatic vocal, with lyrics that affirm that the person who dares to put themselves in the spotlight is infinitely braver than anyone who criticises from the sidelines. Its lyrics are taken, in part, from a famous speech by American President Theodore Roosevelt. Danny explains, “He talks about how honours don't belong to the critics. They don't belong to the people sitting on the couch, laughing at the person in the ring stumbling and falling around. The honours belong to the one who gets in there and whose face is marred with dust and blood. I remember reading it and being like: that needs to be in a tune, the energy in it is beautiful.” ‘The User’s Guide To Being Human’ is now available to pre-order / pre-save. It will be available on CD and limited

Jack Savoretti is coming to Ulster Hall on 02 November 2026! Midlife suits Jack Savoretti. Now almost 20 years into his career, Jack has released 8 studio albums to date, including 2 UK number 1’s and 4 UK top 10’s; a prolific output by any standard. At 41 years of age, his forthcoming 9th studio album ‘We Will Always Be the Way We Were’, released 10th April 2026, showcases a self-acceptance that only comes with life experience. Carl Jung described mid-life as being the time when your ego becomes less of a focus and the people around you become more central to your role in life. It’s the point where you take stock and decide whether you are happy with the person you have become, the decisions you made to get there. This is where Jack Savoretti finds himself right now. Had I made this album 10 years ago, people may have seen it as a u-turn, like going backwards. But now it feels full circle- it’s a closure, a summary of everything I’ve done so far. "I went back to record it in Notting Hill, where my career started. The last two albums I made were concept albums (Europiana, Miss Italia), indulging in different sounds, they gave me that space to come back to doing an album about and of myself.” Jack has always excelled at love songs and ballads, but this album is a love letter not to a person, but to this time of life, to the beautiful middle. This can be summed up with the track ‘Do It for Love,’ written about why Jack still makes music- for the love of it. For the love of the audience, the game, the band, the freedom to create a timeless reality. It’s an affirmation in song form. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a healthy amount of self-doubt on the record too (‘Time Will Tell’, ‘Tick Tock’), but it’s the ongoing questioning we all have that reflects the universal experience of life– the ups and the downs, the beautiful moments that play out alongside the painful ones. The loss of a parent, the birth of a child… midlife throws up the most polarising of experiences. The title track ‘We Will Always Be the Way We Were’ is a song that describes the relationship with his wife of 15 years; a love letter to how everything in your life can change, but how those closest to you and your shared experiences are what see you through. It’s the perfect life anthem, so it became the perfect fit for the album title. It’s an album that sees Jack entering an elder statesman-like role, one that Jack can fill easily. An artist who never gave up his vision or compromised his craft, Jack is one of the few UK singer-songwriters from the mid-00s who is still relevant and still plying his trade. Featuring both KT Tunstall (‘Tempting Fate’), another who came up in the same scene as Jack, and new kid on the block Steph Fraser (‘Only Gonna Cry for You’), it’s a merging of eras to create a timeless sound. The sound of Jack hitting his stride.

Whilst recovering from a car accident, Michael (played by Funboys’ Ryan Dylan) falls down an internet rabbit hole causing him to fixate on a local business man who is mismanaging a local lough. Although his contempt is well placed, the obsession threatens to overcome him. Director Dominic Curran has enormous fun playing with the blurred lines of truth and conspiracy in this timely debut. In an age where corporate greed has all but won, it’s exciting to watch a film so unabashedly angry at the times we’re living in, as well as the disaffected ennui that has brought us here. Driven by a piercing score and disorienting visuals, this film simulates the sensory overwhelm of life in the digital age, and is a portrait of a young mind unravelling in real time.

Censored for more than half a century, Ken Russell’s visionary masterpiece returns to the big screen fully restored in 4K and cut to Russell’s direction - the first publicly released version of the film as intended by the filmmaker. An enduring masterpiece of cinema starring Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave, Ken Russell’s The Devils is a prescient epic of obsession and corruption, and a defining work of art from a seminal filmmaker. Inspired by the true story of 17th-century priest Urbain Grandier, accused of bewitching a convent of nuns, the film lays bare the collusion of church and state through a searing vision of religious persecution, collective hysteria and institutional corruption. Unveiled at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, the definitive version arrives 55 years after the film’s original release. In addition to powerhouse performances from Reed and Redgrave, Ken Russell’s The Devils showcases the stunning work of artists at the peak of their craft. The 8.45pm screening on Fri 30 Oct will include an in-person introduction by Mark Kermode. Warning: The linked trailer contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.

Swann Arlaud (Anatomy of A Fall) gives an effectively inexplicit performance as a man making his way up the career ladder of the Vichy government, the regime in occupied France that collaborated with the Nazis during World War II. Arriving in 1940 with his self-published manifesto, Notre Salut, Henri Marre attempts to ingratiate himself with the new Vichy elite, eventually gaining a comfortable position in middle-management. Based on letters written by the director’s own greatgrandfather, the film is a broadened out imagining of a man about whom little is known. A vague and ambiguous anti-hero, Henri drifts along with the status quo as the war continues and the atmosphere within his bureaucratic office begins to shift. This is a perspective of the Second World War rarely centred in cinema, offering a truly relevant allegory for the political climate of our current age. This screening is subtitled.
